You're lucky...I think mine is beginning to get annoyed....even if I hornswaggled him into going to see BUP, while he might appreciate JLo, I don't think he'd appreciate Alex or the fact that I'd be staring at a bigger than life Alex on the screen.

I thought I would post this here seeing as there are some Aussies on this site. I posted it earlier today on H5-0Fans. Since posting this today several Aussie girls have booked their tickets.

I'm SO excited! I received an email to say that our cinemas are starting 'Chicks at the Flicks' events and their first film is The Backup Plan!

This means I get to see the film at an advanced screening on Wednesday April 28th, instead of having to wait until May 20th. The tickets are $20 each, but you also receive a goody bag valued at (so they say) $50.

Now here in Qld the cinemas are Birch Carroll and Coyle, but it's Greater Union cinemas in other states. So, if any Aussies are interested, I would suggest contacting GU and asking about it. I only found out because I'm a member of the Cinebuzz club which means I'm on an emailing list (among other things). For those of you not near a Greater Union theatre, perhaps contacting your local cinema might be worthwhile. They may have the event there.

"Chicks at the Flicks" sounds like fun, too, if potentially a bit noisy! I haven't found anyone who's available at the odd times I am and interested in going. Might have to arm-twist, er-um 'guilt', the only kid who's still in town into it.
