I think it's possible you've found a clip with an interviewer even MORE annoying than Kathie Lee Gifford.

I wonder if he gets tired of answering the SAME. QUESTIONS. over and over again...

Hmmmm... I bet so... so I have a question for us. If WE could interview him... what would WE ask?
(And Fleur, I mean in public, honey. Just wanting to make that point right off the bat. )

Oh... that was mean... at least she LOVED him. She did LOVE him. So she gets brownie points for that. I grade on a curve.
What? You think KLG and Hoda didn't love him??? :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

I still think Maggie's interview was the best (she's the sweetest, most intelligent one of the bunch as well).

As for what I'd ask him:

Where does he see himself in five or ten years? Acting? Directing? Writing? (That's the serious question.)

What in the world do you think about when you do your photo shoots? (Semi-serious question)

What is the one question you've gotten that you had to restrain yourself from answering in a less than polite way?

What time was the Today show interview? Just wondering because WPIX is a local station here in New York and I have to check how close the studios are.

The thing that really bugged me is at the end she said hopefully people will flock to the movie this weekend (It's not open yet) She did conclude with the April 23rd date but often if I think a movie is already open and not at my local theater I shrug and say

DVD for me.

I didn't know he was on WPIX

Hmmmmm...this could be fun.

I think I'd ask more in-depth questions...like how his life has changed since his first American role and the addition of fans in his life, if he feels he's still that same good ol' Aussie boy, what he thinks his strengths and weaknesses are as an actor...stuff like that.

ETA: Karen's questions are SO MUCH BETTER than mine... :teeth:

Yeah, media questions usually make me wanna stick ice picks in my ears so I don't have to listen. LOL I cannot imagine how celebs deal with it. Ugh.

I like the strengths/weaknesses questions, PNWGal! Good one! :twothumbs:

Serious question: Which actor/actress would you like to work with, that you haven't already?

Fun question: If I had a karaoke machine here right now, what song would you choose to sing?

Tsk. Alex must be really tired of wasting parts of his interview on talking about J-Lo. Save the questions about J-Low for HER!

I'd want to know what his dream job is. Where he sees his career going. He was a huge part of Feed. Does he see himself doing more writing? Directing? Would he consider going back to Australia to do some acting there?

Ohhhhh.... loving y'all's questions!!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
I'd love to hear the answers to them.

My questions would be about his role preparation. How conscious it is, how he melts himself into the characters so completely... how much he works with the wardrobe and make up and hair peeps to create a new character... what he sees in his own head when he first reads a script for how he would BE that character... how much does he ever try to influence the writers about his characters... and how he picks the roles to begin with.

See? These are the kind of questions I'd just love to sit down and have him answer without the cameras and the ditzie interviewers. Hand him a beer or whatever, have him get comfortable and explain what makes him tick as an actor. That would be fabulous to listen to.

EXACTLY. Just an informal session where he doesn't have to be "on".

edited to fix quotes - because I'm just that stupid today...

Ohhhhh, trust me, dsr. There are a hell of a lot of questions I'd like to ask him

Seriously, I can only think of fan related questions. Like: have you ever dated a fan? Would you ever consider going out with a fan? Do you like the mid-west? Would you consider moving to the mid-west to be closer to a fan of yours? Could you be able to ignore said fans husband and family and live in a quasi-dream-like state with that fan?

Aren't you sorry that you asked now, dsr?

But she kept it PG... there's progress. :clapping:
Tho she DID insist upon using the word "titillating"...

Tho in all fairness, Dark, you and I HAVE been known to toss around the cockles and muscles innuendo...
So I'd give her :twothumbs:
