Congrats! And, I loved it! You captured it just right...I agree with GA, I think if Coraline had been upfront with Mick, things might have turned out differently.

I really love that you tapped into Mick and Josef's bond of brotherhood. Josef did give Mick the choice that Coraline denied him.

Josef returning Mick to his vampiric state may have been the culmination of a lot of negative events, but it may have given Mick a chance to escape the trauma of his beginnings.

I love this drabble! So true and powerful! Mick lost a lot that night but got a lot in return as well! Maybe he found the soul Coraline had taken from him on their wedding night!
