Wow! I hadn't realized BUP hadn't opened in South America yet....you're right, it should do well there.

The Back-Up Plan Nominated

Post by m00nlight_babe »

[If this needs to be merged with the current Back-Up Plan thread, feel free to move it]

I know most of us aren't teens, but I still thought y'all might want to know. The Back-Up Plan was nominated for Best Romantic Comedy as part of the Teen Choice Awards.

Marvellous news!!! (If a little odd, given the subject matter  .)

(I'll leave this thread for a while, to give everyone a chance to see it and/or comment, and then merge it into the main thread.)

I'll have to ask Petite Grace if she knows of this... does this air on tv... or is it a product of a magazine?

If you read a lot of books you are considered well read. But if you watch a lot of TV, you're not considered well viewed. Lilly Tomlin

I am clearly old. Some of those scenes just don't seem appropriate for teens.

Oh. :blushing: We took Petite Grace. Who thought it was hilarious.

They have worse on Gossip Girl. On tv. Which is a teen-focussed show. Tho of course all the supposed "teens" on the series are played by actors in their 20s.

The Teen choice awards air on TV :snicker:

It's shown on Fox each year and the winners get surfboards instead of the usual statuette.

I finally saw it tonight! :thud:

I was mostly in state of bliss watching every scene, but I think I actually squealed as he was making pancakes. I just wanted to wrap him up and take him home ;)

[edit]: On a less fangirly note...um, I thought the rest of the film was okay...but I wouldn't have gone to see it if not for Alex. The story and the jokes were a bit too obvious for my taste. That said- *squee!!!* for Alex on the BIG screen :twothumbs:
