He's so funny!Is it just me, or does he remind anybody else of a hobbit in that picture? Maybe it's the relative size of the Alex pic and him...
Of course, it goes without saying that he's a very handsome, determined-looking hobbit. 
(BTW, it looks like he's spent the summer getting into shape. He looks great!)-

Maybe being thinner is a plot line in SGU. They've already portrayed the food on Destiny as sustaining life but not tasting all that good.

David commented on this on twitter a bit ago. Some smart ass commented that "you'd think that the cast would change physically given the harsh circumstances." David shot back with a whole list of things they were doing, like having the clothing slowly look more worn out, everyone's hair getting longer, and also most of them slimming down over time. He's been working out more since the show started and has been steadily dropping weight. I know I've noticed and I think he was a bit insulted that the rude guy posting hadn't noticed.

That's the sort of attention to detail that I love about the show. I've definitely noticed David getting slimmer, and just the whole crew looking a little grungier and more beat-up. I'm not surprised that David's annoyed if people don't notice. But some people are just UNsubtle by nature... and doesn't it seem to be that THOSE people have the biggest mouths?? Sigh...
