Eddie McClintock (Jason Abbott) - other roles
I was rewatching a few Moonlight episodes, one of which was "Click". I realized Jason Abbott (the director who killed Tierney) had been in at least two other shows. He played Special Agent Tim Sullivan, mostly called Sully, on Bones. Also stars in the SciFi show Warehouse 13. He's also in several other tv shows and a few movies.

Speaking of Abbott, near the end of Click when Mick and Beth confront Abbott in the alley, does anyone else think of the movie Robin Hood, Men in Tights and crack up when Mick says, "Hey! Abbott!"?

Sorry, Alle--I had to take someone down with me!
I'm pretty sure Abbott wasn't a huge fan of Mick after he caught him and had him arrested. He may have even said...
"I hate that guy!"

YESSS! They could easily have left the 'Hey' off. Remember, too, that Abbot and Costello would have been in their heydey during Mick's human life...just a little inside humorNocturneInCMoll wrote:Speaking of Abbott, near the end of Click when Mick and Beth confront Abbott in the alley, does anyone else think of the movie Robin Hood, Men in Tights and crack up when Mick says, "Hey! Clearly, I now have to watch Robin Hood - Men in Tights to understand the fun you're having.

Oh, is A&C what RH,MIT was referencing with that? It did cross my mind recently. I haven't seen either in years, and I think I only saw one A&C thing.

Yes!! Bud Abbot was the straight man and Lou Costello was the hapless half of the comedy pair that started in Vaudeville, went to radio, then to the movies. Their act broke up in the late 1950s for both personal and professional reasons. It was part of their 'schtick' that at some point during their routine that Costello would go 'Hey, Abbot' in just the manner that the actor did in RHMIT.NocturneInCMoll wrote:Oh, is A&C what RH,MIT was referencing with that? Tee hee! You're right, Karen!
I can't remember which A&C show I saw, but it might have had something to do with boxing--maybe. Or maybe not.
