Unfortunately, it's not McGarrett. It's from a photo-shoot that went along with an interview with Alex in the LA Times a few months ago. Also from that same photoshoot is that wonderful one of him looking up at a light fixture. Beautiful shots!

It's really interesting--very stylized. It feels like a painting, doesn't it?! I wonder if it's a promo shot for the original pilot presentation. The street behind him could be anywhere, but it has a bit of a New York feel.

It does feel like a painting ... like it's been touched up, had the background changed, something. And it has the moodier, darker feel of the original pilot, so that seems like a good guess!






Red, that's a wonderful photo shoot. I hadn't seen all of them before. Love this one especially.
