Two announcements - Board upgrade 9/30 - COMPLETE!

New admin: In order to keep the board running smoothly in the event of an emergency, Allegrita has had back-up Admin privileges for some time now. This arrangement proved invaluable during the past few weeks. Today I'm just making it "official."

If you need an office, or bookshelves within the office, please feel free to contact Allegrita.

Board upgrade: We finally have a firm date set for the upgrade. Barring any unforeseen problems, MLA will be closing for renovations at 9PM Thursday September 30 (US east coast time).

As usual, The Motel will be open for business, and the wonderful mods will keep everyone informed as soon as the MLA is open for business again. It is a significant upgrade, so in a worst case scenario, we may be offline for up to 24 hrs. However, judging on past experience, there is usually a pretty wild party atmosphere at The Motel, so all will be well.

It's been awhile, so I wanted to mention to newer members that the Moonlightaholics Motel is our temp board.

Whenever we have a scheduled outage, like for an upgrade, say, we'll open the motel. If there's an unscheduled problem that might last any length of time beyond a few hours, we'll open the motel.
