If you're posting "hidden" links, i.e. so a text description appears in your post (for example, like the link in my signature) or shortcuts, such as ow.ly, bit.ly, tinyurl etc. please make sure you mention the source of the article in your post so that members know what they are clicking on before they click the link.

However, if you get fancy and link like this...

... then folks don't really know where they might end up.
