I've actually seen a number of his scenes...and I know what happens. I may eventually finish watching it...but yeah, the beginning scarred me for life.wpgrace wrote:Seriously Kel... skip the beginning. It is all about that cop guy and his disgusting perps...Kelly wrote:Now there's where my mistake was...I watched the first 10 min and didn't make it to Alex's scenes. I was literally gagging :shock:wpgrace wrote:Fleur de Lisa wrote:Have not.
Am afraid
Don't watch the first ten minutes...after that it's not disgusting... a little weird but not revolting weird... and Alex is realllllly crazy... he can do serial psycho killer...
And you haven't seen Feed, MB, or The Shield... seriously?
What have you been doing all winter?
AFter he returns from Germany to Australia he gets interested in the internet scam with the.... large women. That is Alex's scam... that is when to begin to watch... Skip ten to fifteen minutes... then watch.
Alex is brilliant. He looks really different and he isn't "nice". But he's brilliant. And his very best scene is in the last half hour... so hang in... I'm telling ya, his last big scene is like a soliloquy and it may be among his best minutes on film ever...
If you watch it, let me know... but yeah, it's weird... and it was partly his idea.... so he gets no free pass about this movie...

That bad, kelly? That's what I had heard, not to mention that I doubt the local Blockbuster carries it, and I am not going to order that one.

My Blockbuster does not have it... and in the beginning the internet cop busts a ring in Germany where the folks eat one another bit by bit... and they appear to be single sex, tho that is hardly the faux pas involved...
It seriously gags the internet cop... played by not-ALex... so the first 20 minutes or so of the movie have nothing to do with ALex except to set up that this internet cop is sick of twisted people.
Now ALex's character is also twisted... but also cuddley in a twisted kinda way... he's smooth and crazy and cute, in a twisted kinda way. And actor-wise...totally up to the challenge. He makes his psycho serial killer sympathetic... which is the challlenge with those roles, no?
So now, demystified... skip the beginning.

Feed is AWESOME - I very much enjoyed it. Certainly, you don't want to be eating anything while watching it, but Alex is incredibly good in it.

It took me a while to work up the nerve to see FEED but the draw was just too great!
Once I saw a few caps I knew I HAD to do it! That's definitely the first time I've found myself rooting for a psycho!
It was a good film and I'm glad I saw it but I did have to avert my eyes to the corner of the screen a time or two.

Ok, so this tells you how addicted I am to food, I managed to eat popcorn thru the thing... but I skipped that gross first part...
And I recently rewatched and ate pizza...
And I agree, it IS awesome... Alex is awesome in it...

I don't mind the large lady stuff... there is some gross towards the end, but Alex is in full psycho mode by then and you're so wrapped up in that you ignore the ick...
Cause he is amazing...

Seriously?! I couldn't even think about food for the rest of the day after watching as much as I watched.wpgrace wrote:PNWgal wrote:Feed is AWESOME - I very much enjoyed it. Certainly, you don't want to be eating anything while watching it, but Alex is incredibly good in it.

It's not just a movie, it's a diet aid.
