The end of an era: Vampires and Slayers is closing down :(

Sigh. Got this message today from Ed Gross, the owner of the Vampires and Slayers blog:

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to let you know that Vampires & Slayers will be shutting down shortly. Despite the large size of the community, it just never got the traction it needed from people.

We're still on Twitter at @VampsandSlayers, so you'll be able to find links to vampire-related stories.

Also, if you go to http://www.vampiresandslayers.net, I will be updating news stories much more frequently.

Finally, please check out http://www.blogofdarkshadowsfor all kinds of information on Dark Shadows, the new Johnny Depp/Tim Burton film as well as the original 1960s soap opera.

Sorry I couldn't make a better go of this. I really wish it had worked out better.

Ed's one of the good guys. He's got a nice bunch of Moonlight-related stuff in his archives, too. So if you want to see it one more time, go check it out.
