Holly Valance (Lola) - other roles

Post by allegrita »

I just watched "Marple: The Pale Horse" on Masterpiece Mystery. And Holly was in it! She played a person named Kanga. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1605749/

Hmmmmm... Holly on Masterpiece Theater. :chin:
How horribly evil does it make me that I never ever ever would have expected that to happen?

No more evil than someone being surprised when Gwyneth Paltrow showed up on the Country Music Awards.

And both of them turned out to be a whole lot better at their craft than first impressions would have indicated. So there you go! :teeth:

Nice avitar, Alle. ITA It always inspires me when folks who are successful in one thing take on something completely different.

Just seen Holly on TV for the first time in ages - a new Fosters advert. They're pretty funny, but, seems like a bit of a come-down...

According to several sources, she's rumored to be signed to appear on "Simply Come Dancing" (the British version of Dancing With the Stars) this year...

Oh, I think that's a really good move for her. Strictly is huge over here (as DWTS is in the US) and they do like a good mix of glamour and comedy participants. I mean Russell Grant? Man alive...

The combo with Jason Donovan will be really good - so many people my age grew up watching them on Neighbours, there's a massive nostalgic audience.

Although if the line-up in that article is correct, all the headlines will invariably be stolen by Robbie Savage. I guarantee it.

I promise. Strictly is my autumn/winter Saturday evening ritual with my dad - so you may get a bit of his commentary thrown in for good measure. :giggle:
