Can someone explain? Am I just being dim? (Probable, I know.) What does this actually mean? Is the movie coming out? When? Where?

We're interpreting it to mean the movie is coming out. No details, yet, but we're assuming good news.

I think it means they are about to make a very big announcement. It's a bit of a tease. I'm sure when anything definite comes out, we'll see it here right away... :hearts:

ETA: Lucky, we cross-posted. Two great minds, huh? :teeth:

Did any other Kickstarter donors get any info? (Only asking 'cos I've heard zilch.)

I haven't heard anything via Kickstarter since they asked for my address ages ago, but I assume that we will soon. The announcements were made via Twitter.

I think this is pretty typical for Kickstarter stuff. They don't give out the prizes till the project is finished. I've donated to other Kickstarter things and it worked that way for them, too.

The SfS guys went pretty silent on their FB page, when they started looking for a distributor. I don't know if that's because anything they said would possibly jeopardize negotiations, or what. But I'm not worried about getting the prize I was promised. And besides - my motivation for doing the KS donation was to get the movie made. And it looks like I'm gonna get that wish.

I'm not asking because I'm greedy for my prize - I just want to know what's happening with the movie.

According to producer Greg Beauchamp ...

"Emmy-nominated @jjjohnstone created a whole new font family for @searchforsonny. Yeah, kind of a badass."

Check out some of Jeremy Johnstone's work here: http://rockadee.prosite.com/20820/home

Among other things, he did the main title sequence for Rubicon.
