I guess this is kinda baseline for Alex now.

I'd love it to be higher, but as long as he's not doing talkshows or any other outside projects, I guess there's nothing to raise him above this level.

Still - it's not to be sneezed at - even if I personally think he should be number one week in, week out.

I would think that winning a PC award would raise his profile to the general viewing public.

But why isn't CBS booking him on their morning show, at least? You'd think they'd be happy to promote one of their own dramas.

Do NOT get me started. :grumble:

Although I have to figure Alex has a say in all of this - maybe he just wants to get on with the work and not be trekking back and forward to the mainland.

Send a reporter to him, for goodness sake. They could do a whole week focusing on Hawaii and the show. Cuisine, travel spots; interviews with Alex and the cast interspersed throughout.

Hire me, I'll do the darn thing myself. Of course I'll need an assistant to periodically revive me.

I kinda like this idea - it would be good for Hawaii tourism.

CBS would get all kinds of feel-good publicity out of it.

And we'd get Alex. Lots and lots of Alex.

If they're not gonna interview him, just flash those pix red posted on the Alex thread before every commercial break.

Damn.

This has been a real puzzle to me... On Letterman, they have had the 2.5 Men guys, NOT in the Letterman studio but from their own studio, do a bit. The H50 cast could do that. they'd be ADORABLE!

Plus, they have many of their stars on Letterman. Why not Alex? Or the morning show thing like Fleur said. I do not get it... :dizzy:

Rachel Ray should have him too. She promised. She DID!

I'd love to see the cast highlighted more as well, but it might just boil down to logistics....when there's an opening, the cast has other commitments, and when they're free, the shows aren't.....still, I like Fleur's idea about sending the reporter or host or whatever out to Hawaii....seriously, just how hard would you have to twist someone's arm for a week in Hawaii talking to such a cool cast :teeth:

However, I am happy to see that he's broken past the 300 mark!! Which is almost difficult for me to type because I don't see him as anything less than #1. :cloud9:
