It is almost like they cast that show purposefully finding the least attractive actors they could! And I was soooo puzzled why they wrote Alex's character out... I mean, lord, they finally had a looker AND an actor (cause that Chiklis impresses from neither evaluation, IMO), but Pinkiepie told me Alex left The Shield in order to do ML... so their loss. And apparently Shawn Ryan was not happy with Alex about that...

Tho I also remember on the Shield DVD interview... Alex was fake crying and asking the fans to write letters to get him written back into the show... and the Claudette actress came up and said no he's gone... and this isn't American Idol...

So still not sure about what happened there... but still, their loss.

About that grainy film...had they upgraded to coincide with the arrival of the fine Det. Hiatt it might have gotten ugly! I'm sure there was already jealousy among his co-stars. Didn't one of the guys even remark about how good looking he is somewhere on the DVD extras? And really, would we have survived some of these shots in crisp, clear HD? "The Walk" that Phee just posted comes to mind. *shudders*
