 Loved that bad-boy photoshoot. I hope there will be pictures of the event, and of course I hope he wins.
But even if he doesn't, I hope he has fun and can appreciate being in Australia for a day or two. At least he will be free from filming for that time, so his work week is short.

I am so :fingerscrossed: and  that this means he wins.

But as Mizz said, in any case, this is huge for him... and his no-doubt proud family. :cloud9:

Grateful to Alex for Mick, Andy, and McG. :)

I sure hope he wins. :cheer:

But I have no idea who his competition is. I looked them up on IMDb but it didn't help mush only two other then Alex had a pic....no worries IMO of the two who did Alex has them beat. But who knows how the judges will vote.
I know Alex would take this opportunity to go back to OZ to see his family, but I hope it's a little more then that... like they need him there to "accept" his award. :twothumbs:

Ooohhhh! :melts: Alex in black tie...

I don't recognize any of the names except for Jack Thompson. Isn't that the friend of Alex' on who's couch Alex slept in his early LA years?
ETA: I think I'm wrong. He played with Alex in Feed and Oyster Farmer. I think he was the old man.

I googled what an OMEGA De Ville Hour Vision Calibre 8500 is. It's a watch. Now I want Alex to win, because he would soooo dig that price. Or maybe he already owns one.

Black tie? Be still my heart! :hearts:

Tuesday night in Sydney is when here in the US? Meaning, when might we expect pictures from this event?

Because all the advance warning in the world ain't gonna help and we all know it. But at least we'll know to put our affairs in order first. :twothumbs:

MLC, I have no idea about the timing of the event but just as a guesstimate, 8pm Tuesday in Sydney is 4am Tuesday EST.

It's fate--the winner will get a gorgeous watch. This means Alex must win, right? :teeth:

Cool video promo of the watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3UzcyavX-c
OMEGA page for the watch: http://www.omegawatches.com/gents/produ ... our-vision

(Now I'm dying to see it on his wrist. As he's wearing the tux.) :melts: :melts: :melts:

Thanks, Red! So possibly during the day Tuesday, naturally the day I work and don't have access to any forums. :sigh: :drums:
