His eyes are just dreamy. They were especially gorgeous this past ep---light bluish gray and just :thud:

Yes, Alle. He needs to eat several more sandwiches, as healthy and gorgeous as he looks, he doesn't need to get any thinner.
I'm sure we could all take turns cooking him a meal.....MLA Meals on Wheels!!!

I'm gonna have to go with the last two...because Steve finally acknowledging being tortured in N. Korea was a beautiful sight to see. :cloud9:

I'm still catching up with series 2, but i was surprised to see him looking soooo slim in the pics. He does seem to be losing weight again. I think he does have a naturally athletic, lean build...but good grief, give the man a cake!!!

I think the MLA Meals on Wheels needs to get a shimmy on!!! :snicker:

Hmmmmmm... :chin:

I have seen many posts this week about Alex looking thinner in the recent ep.

I must admit I'm not really seeing a major change. He can look SO different from project to project and even from ep to ep that I'm kinda just used to his Gorgeous presenting itself in variant ways. In fact, he looked particularly beautiful to me this week. :melts: Tho, even if he is thinner, it may be on purpose. Alex is Method, after all, and McG is under duress.

Now true, we cannot rely on TPTB at CBS to safeguard their "investment"... I mean, look at Charlie Sheen. :giggle:

What I will say, tho, in comfort to those who fret for his health... Alex has access to the world's best health and nutrition experts, and he has taken full advantage of that access, in spades! In fact, so much so, that he has become something of an expert, himself, in this area. He even wrote an advice article this past Fall. I would venture to posit that he knows more about this stuff than the vast majority of his fans, most other tv stars, AND his Mama. :winky:

So he may gain or lose some weight for whatever reason, and that may affect how attractive some folks find him. But he certainly isn't wasting away. And he seems a sufficient health nut to have a doctor and to be willing to seek help if needed. PLUS, he has a new GF. She's gonna want him healthy. And SHE probably has a pretty good knowledge about healthy bod issues! :comfort2:

So I feel comfortable just enjoying his work. And I am. Oh my, I certainly am. :hearts:

He does look thinner. So what? As long as no one is being mean or cruel, why can't we mention it? What is the difference from disagreeing on how he dresses in a plaid shirt or a cardigan? Or some people saying they prefer his hair is longer or shorter? Some might like him leaner, some might prefer him at his Mick weight; as long as we are decent and polite, I was under the impression we could give our opinions. He is a human being, as we all are. No one is perfect. Even Alex. He'd probably be mortified to be thought of that way.

I've reviewed the comments, and I haven't seen ONE person say anything remotely malicious or out of line. I guess I don't honestly see how mentioning he looks different should be an affront to him or anyone else. And I am upset by the implication.

Fleur, you are absolutely right. Everyone is entitled to say what they think, respectfully and with consideration. I agree that no one has been disrespectful of Alex. Grace, I also agree with you that Alex's body is his to do with as he wishes. As long as no one says something rude or disrespectful about him, they're entitled to their opinion of what he does with it, in the public arena.

Well, the man does eat.

His diet makes me sad cuz I love food and I admire his willpower, but I think he looks thinner. That's not a criticism, not a nasty comment, just an observation. I completely agree, Grace - Alex obviously cares a great deal about his health, and takes very good care of himself. He throws himself 100% into everything he does, including working out, but there's a decided difference in his face between the premiere (which I watched this morning, cuz I LOVE it :cloud9: ) and the last ep. I think it's a combination of a brutal work schedule, probably not enough sleep, and grabbing a bite when he can. That kinda stress takes a toll on a man.

Fleur...you're right. We all have our Alex preferences - longer or shorter hair, clean-shaven or scruffy, dressed up or dressed down. I prefer a little more meat on Alex's bones, but if he wants to shave his head, dye it purple and call himself Princess Peony, that ain't no nevermind of mine. My job as a fan is to enjoy his work and be grateful for the gift of it.

No-one's saying you can't mention it - it's mentioned repeatedly.

My personal view is that I find the comments about his weight offensive, intrusive and rude. I am neither asking nor expecting anyone else to share that opinion. But you can make your opinions freely known based on someone else's pics.
