Soooo.....doesn't this warrant a new thread? :clapping: We managed 15 pages out of Blessed. Creative should be worth at least that much don't ya think? :cloud9:

And ya know what's really cool is that alot of people that have sent him pm's are hearing back from him.I know that he has always done that a bit, but now it seems to be happening alot, from people that I have heard from.and I'm sorry but I can't help but think that it might have something to do with the breakup. But I hope he isn't feeling lonely with family so far away.

I guess it's now our challenge to see how creative we can be?

So far he's been: adventurous, blessed and creative.

All really, really good things to hear. As far as the break-up is concerned, maybe that is why he spent extra time in Australia, I am not sure what the living arrangements were like back in L.A., and I don't want to speculate or get too off-topic, but I bet him being 'home' was really good for him. Especially since he is going to be so busy in the states with work, he won't get a chance to hit the homeland for a while. ;)

Also, I cannot get over how accessible he is to his fans. I wonder how many other actors respond to their fans the way this man does.

Just when I think that I cannot possibly admire him even more, he does something else wonderful.

Oh hell yeah... your lips to God's ears, DC!!!!

Surely if he didn't get a show yet, he'd be feeling difficult dangerous and complicated... Rather than adventurous blessed and creative.

I also just got a site through on Google alerts that now has Whiteout listed as having a trailer "coming soon". Of course, the film was supposed to be released months ago, so who the hell knows what the Hollywood definition of "soon" is, but, as always, we wait and hope...

Maybe if Alex's profile raises a bit more, they'll for sure release the movie just to take advantage of that... cause clearly it's a clunker of a movie and might otherwise just be buried...

Not that I care that much if the movie is any good... my primary concern is... and my thumbs up or down will primarily rest upon... the amount of actual screen time that Alex gets in it.

I mean, an addict prefers good crack of course, but will be happy with lots of crack if the quality suffers...

I'm with you there, Grace. The rest of the movie - well all to the good if it's brilliant but, as you say, it seems unlikely. But I shall be happy as a clam if we just get some damn screen time of the delightful Alex.

I have read the graphic novel on which Whiteout is based. Believe it or not I found it in our public library.
Alex's character is named Hayden and is an Aussie pilot, not the best fellow but not a the villain either. I will not spoil it for you guys.
The artist/author draws him with glasses and a beard; I don't know how he is in the movie...
His part in the book at least is pretty good but again who knows what they have done in the movie. But since he is an Aussie we will probably hear his sexy accent

OK... so far so good... but for me it's all gonna come down to minutes on screen...

What can I say? I'm a purist...

Maybe there should be a thread called "Alex Mood Watch" (no, I'm not obsessed :eek2: ). We can really gauge what's happening with him by his mood icons.

Thanks to all for the reports and updates  My comp is old and the browser goes glitchy on his site. I wish he or his tech would unclutter it.

I'm really astounded at how responsive he has become!

If you ladies are agreeable, once we get maxed out on this thread (about 20 pages) we'll start the Mood Watch.

Because I have a feeling we'll keep watching. Can't tear ourselves away.
