Again, I'd just like to point out how much I ADORE the fact that Alex is hairy. It's so inherently and blatantly masculine...

Had to quote that, just to agree. The whole "waxed" metrosexual look creeps me out...

Here's the gecko ode. Apologies to Phoenix for the "G" word...it was a happier, more PG-13 gutter in those days! And as you can see from line 3, it's pretty old...hmm, perhaps I should rework it!

Ode to the Gecko

Dear Gecko, curled upon that pec so fine,
With noble tail draped charmingly just so,
You bless the Gutter Gals of MoonlightLine
And cause them to perspire and utter, “Oh!”

Upon the Pec of Pulchritude you rest,
Protecting it from skeeters, flies, and gnats;
Adorning Alex O’s Micklicious chest,
O Luckiest of Lucky Alex tats!

Perhaps when he’s asleep you wander free,
And visit other realms upon that bod;
We search for evidence remorselessly,
Perusing inch by inch our Gutter God.

No problem, Alle. In spite of the "gutter" tag, that part of MoonlightLine was honestly just a little harmless PG-13 fun. It was a sisterhood in the real sense, back in the day...

So true, DC. Poor man... what a heavy burden he bears having to maintain all those perfect parts... cause what a sin it would be to lose any single cell of that body!!!

And those arms are the arms of a Greek god, no? WIth tats no less... improvement upon the Greeks....

As far the Greek gods are concerned, well I am Greek and believe me the men don't look anything like Alex.
Now the ancient statues at the museums are a different story

Those are the ones I refer to... not regular Greeks... the gods. Regular anybodies are... well... regular. But the gods... and the Greeks had the best of them. Appearance wise. They didn't always behave all that well...

They did have a good time though
What I like about Alex's body is that it's not bulky. It looks almost fluid if that makes sense.
I was never a fan of the Mister Universe type; all that bulk looks gross to me.

He's lean yet muscular at the same time.

I have never liked the overdone muscled look, either--I like the sleek toned look, and it appears this man has cornered the market on that body type

The few lucky folks who have seen Alex in person said that he is much leaner than he looks on the screen but still gorgeous and sexy. I remember reading back last April when he was at the NYCon and Paley that he had the "thing" called charisma I guess. He dominated the room by his presence, that type of magnetism that is rare.
But we can see that, can't we?

That's what makes the difference between mere mortals and stars--and he has star quality.
