Jason cast in "Scared of the Dark" - or not?

Jason has just been cast in the feature horror film Scared of the Dark. According to IMDb, the film is a DreamWorks SKG production and will be filmed in Los Angeles and Tokyo.

I have to admit I've really got mixed feeling about this one, too. I'm delighted to see Jason working. But, since it's a horror film , I don't think I'm going to be able to see it. I just can't do the horror genre at all. Not even for Jason.

I'm actually a bit surprised he took this.

I feel much the same way. Although for Jason, I might just have to "woman up" and go see it.

Horror is so popular right now...it may be that it's just where the opportunities are. And it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be all blood and guts.

I agree Lilly...but who knows where his character will fit in & how long it will be in the movie. All I know is I watch the FIRST Halloween and remembered having the s**t scared out of me...had nightmares for quite some time...even now I can 'visualize' some of the scenes that freaked me out..*SHUDDER*

I'm a big fan of the horror genre. I'm surprised because the casting usually under thirty for these movies but I'm thrilled

Well, I noticed another name on the cast list is the guy who played Alison Dubois's husband on Medium.

And hey, give Jason a break! He only turned 30 a couple of months ago!

Ooh, I love that guy!!! (Alison's hubby on "Medium".) But oy, I'm not a horror genre person... although I'm thrilled that Jason's got a movie gig. And I hope it's a wonderful role. And that his character survives.

By the way, we all know that once you're 30, you're over the hill, right ladies? No hope for poor Jason now, he might as well get out the walker and buy a rocking chair.

I am telling you one thing! When and if this film makes it all the way to Greece, I am going to watch and watch and watch it, till my eyes hurt! I haven't had the chance to watch Alex on the big screen -didn't ''know '' him yet , and I am not going to miss Jason too! I don't care what kind of movie it is, I am going to be front row!

His IMDb page lists that he was in a horror film back in 2003 called Black Cadillac. There is a trailer there for it. I had look at it. It looked intriguing. So I will watch it and review for you! I don't mind the occasional horror film, don't like 'em gory, though. Now, all I have to do is tell my movie buddy that a pizza and movie night is on the agenda! It is Friday here, after all!
