After coming across this wonderful song by Xandria called "Eversleeping", I just had to use it to make a video for Josef and Sarah. The lyrics really convey a sense of Josef's vast age and life experience. Hope you will give the video a try!

I only used part of the song -- here are the lyrics that appear in the video.
Once I traveled seven seas to find my love
And once I sang seven hundred songs
Well, maybe I still have to walk seven thousand miles
Until I find the one that I belong
I will rest my head side by side
To the one that stays in the night
I will lose my breath in my last words of sorrow
And whatever comes will come soon
Dying, I will pray to the moon
That there once will be a better tomorrow
Once I crossed seven rivers to find my love
And once for seven years I forgot my name
Well, if I have to, I will die seven deaths just to lie
In the arms of my eversleeping aim
I will rest my head side by side
To the one that stays in the night
I will lose my breath in my last words of sorrow
I will rest my head side by side
To the one that stays in the night
So there once will be a better tomorrow

Oh, Shadow!!!

This. Is. Beautiful. Heartbreakingly beautiful. There's so very little Josef and Sarah footage to work with (I know I've been trying to come up with something for years
) but you blended it seamlessly with other clips and it's perfect.
Thank you SO much for this.

Oh, honey, what an amazing video. I'm not surprised you were inspired by that song, it could have been written to describe Josef's life, and especially his love for Sarah. You have done an amazing job of weaving in images from Josef's past that illustrate his life journey. And your intercutting of the scenes with Sarah before and after the failed turning is heartbreakingly poignant.

Shadow~ This video is absolutely perfect. It's loving, beautiful, and sorrowful. You did a wonderful job of editing Moonlight scenes and non-Moonlight scenes together. The song gave me chills.

I absolutely love that you ended the video on a happy note -- a better tomorrow, indeed.

Thank you.

Thanks ever so much, Lilly and Alle and Lucky and Marigold!
Oh, it's so true about the amount of Josef and Sarah footage . . . there's just not enough. I'd never even considered trying to make a video for them until I heard this song. It gave me chills too! I love the rich sense of the past that the song implies. And this part really made me think of Lucky's story "Dust" . . . Josef's journeys crossing the western frontier in America.
