While I love the thought of Alex closing out the season for Criminal Minds, I doubt that's the case. Looks like the episode on the 29th will be the first episode to air during May sweeps. Most likely, there will be at least 2 more new episodes before they have their season ender, which will likely end on a bit of a cliffhanger, sort of like what they did last year. But with all the SAG strike-related issues still at play, anything can happen and they could end the season with this episode. Guess we'll know more as the days tick off.

It is early but Nielsen had to adjust sweeps this year for the digital conversion. There are no Feb sweeps there are March sweeps and the May begin April 20. It's possible because it looks like about 16 episodes have aired. If they run straight thru with new epis March-April.

But we'll have to wait until closer to know for sure.
