Something Rob Thomas wanted to add about V and Piz about the footage earlier on this thread. I'll put it under spoilers.

So are any of you other kickstarters anxiously watching your email for an update with a premiere date?

Yup. And I'm watching for a reward that should be coming sometime soon, too.
I did finally get my shirts and stickers.

I've checked around and couldn't find a release date, but somewhere early on in the Kickstarter campaign, I thought the release was targeted for spring 2014.

On Kickstarter, I've seen mention of February. But, these things are always flexible.

So, they're promising a big announcement tomorrow morning in Entertainment Weekly.
My bet? Premiere date. Guess we'll see.

Oh fabulous!!! I'm blocking my calendar.
Did you read the comments?!?
There's no denying that VM fans are vocal and positive in the extreme.
I LOVE that preview scene--the behind-the-back shenanigans had me giggling out loud!

Re: Veronica Mars - The Movie
This is great news!!
What made me even happier was that WB has opted to show the movie on a broader basis (number of screens nationwide) and longer than originally planned. What I would love is that VM is a far bigger success than even Rob dreamed.

I'm hoping that between fans going multiple times, and people being drawn in to "see what all the fuss is about," that it may do better business than WB thinks.
And I'm really cheering at the good exposure for Jason. (I know, I know, you're positively SHOCKED to hear me say such a thing.)

Re: Veronica Mars - The Movie
Good news and bad news... Veronica Mars will be showing in AMC theaters in "select markets" around the country.

The bad news is the "select" part. I guess we'll have to wait and see where it's going to show, but for folks like me, with no AMC theater in a 50-mile radius, seeing this movie in a proper theater isn't going to be easy.
