Okay, I think I need to kick some a$$ around here, people! Yes, I waited six years to watch the pilot, but finally did last night and I CANNOT believe these scenes are not posted here... ad nauseam. I mean, call me Suzy Late to the Party, but I had no idea this scene existed. Honest to Bob!!!! How is it possible I've never seen one screencap of this?!?



So pardon the looong post, but I aim to remedy the dearth of Mick-the-Jazz-Trumpeter pics in Mick's thread.

OMG, Fleur, these pics have a deep resonance... my grandfather was a trumpeter in a jazz band that toured during the 30s, 40s and 50s. No big-name act, just the club circuit... just like Mick.

Of course, my grandfather never reformed like Mick... he had, ahem, several families and consequently I have lots of relatives across the country. In fact, if you find an Italian-American with my last name (a rare one) he or she is likely related to me.

But oh, jazz-era Mick.... So glad I finally watched this!
