Somehow I had never read this before .... so, I got such a treat getting to read it for the first time today! Such a sweet story for Mick and Beth. I loved the gifts Mick chose for Beth, and the so-meaningful gift Beth decided on for Mick. I liked the feeling of newness in their relationship, with Beth finding her way to choosing the best gift for a very special vampire.

Back again for another read this damp February day. I just love this story. I love seeing their relationship deepening, and their thoughtfulness for each other. Mick couldn't have thought of better gifts, and they add up to an amazing night together under the stars. And Beth gave Mick the best thing she could: her love and trust (and blood!) Just perfect.
