I just need some confirmation. Beth was born in 1982, correct? And was kidnapped at age 4, which would be 1986. And she met Mick when? 2007 when the show started? Making her 25 at that time?

Or was Beth kidnapped in 1982?

I guess I need to rewatch my DVDs...

Beth was kidnapped in 1985, according to the flashback in NSTAV. If she was four when she was kidnapped, that means she was born in either 1980 or 1981, depending on whether she was kidnapped before or after her birthday. So when she met Mick in 2007, she could be 25, 26, or 27, depending (again) on the time of year. (I think!)

Here's my thinking... Let's say Beth's birthday is in June. If she was kidnapped before June 1985, and she was already 4, she would turn 5 later that year. So that means she was born in 1980. But if she was kidnapped after June, she had already turned 4 that year. So her birth year was 1981.

So... when she meets Mick in 2007, the time of year also affects the calculation. If she was born in 1980 and met Mick before her birthday, that means she was 26. If she met him after her birthday, she was 27. If she was born in 1981 and she met Mick before her birthday, she was 25. If she met Mick after her birthday, she was 26.

But I am not sure I'm right--you should check my Moonlight math.

Whoa, Nellie! I just remembered that there was a Moonlight timeline floating around, and so I dug around in my ML junk folder and found it. According to this, Beth was born in 1981 and was 26 when she met (or met again, whatever) Mick in 2007.

Y'know... I just thought of something, after looking at that timeline. If Mick was 30 when he was turned in 1952, then if the timeline is accurate, he was turned AFTER his birthday in November.

I always wondered their age difference! Figured if she was a child when he first met her figured it was a couple decades later they met again
