Isn't it wonderful that he can pull off characters that do not resemble each other?
The mark of a multi-faceted talent with a devotion to his craft, I am thrilled they are giving him a wide berth to spread his wings.

Coco, Oz is about four or five eps behind the US, too. :sigh:

That would totally suck, coco, and your sisters in America would have to figure out how to help you all should that be the case...

And thanks, SirenSong, for that blog link and the tip to click on the pic. Wow!!
There's a UK sister here who'll be able to help! I'll have the episode within a couple of hours of it broadcasting in the US. I'll make sure it's on my laptop at the Con in June and I'll bring a few blank DVD's to hook up anyone who hasn't seen it by that time.

On a side note, when Moonlight started here there were only 12 episodes but the final four were automatically tacked on to the end of the series. We had episode 4 of Criminal Minds on Friday, so we're a good 15 weeks behind the US. That means we're not due to see Alex's episode until the beginning of July! :gasp:
My eternal thanks to Pinkiepie230 for my awesome banner!

Lord, that' a huge amount of time lag! We're only a few weeks behind here in Oz, but I'm not waiting a second longer than I have to. 12 hours tops!

I recorded Criminal Minds from last night, and just watched it with my hubby and eldest daughter. It my opinion, it was a very poorly acted episode. I certainly don't want to offend anyone if they are fans of the show, but I was wondering if it was only the ep I saw that seemed so wooden and stilted, or if that is par for the course for the show? One of the main reasons we watched it, is that Jackson Rathbone played a serial killer in it--he played Jasper in Twilight, and we are fans. He did a good job. But the rest of the dialogue, etc, not so good.

Everything above is only my opinion, and you all know how much I adore Alex--he is a phenomenal actor, so, I have no worries at all on that front. I know he will do his usual superior acting job when his episode airs. Just trying to get a feel for this show before his ep airs, and was not at all impressed.

I like To Wong Foo.

LOL!... not all that excited about Alex in drag... but Jackson DID make an extraordinarily pretty girl, with a sweet voice...ALex's voice wouldn't translate to the other team quite so well... thank BOB!

And I enjoyed Priscilla, Queen of the Desert more than To Wong Foo... I thought those actors were funnier...

And SS, I'm guessing his countdown clock is STILL on Aussie time!!! :snicker: So we'll just have to go with that, huh?

I have always said that Jackson Rathbone has a very fem look about him--more androgynous, I guess, so I had to laugh when I saw the role they gave him on CM. And he was the best part of that show. Was not impressed otherwise.

It has become quite formulaic... last night's was less gory than it sometimes can be... so I was ok with it... but I'm not a regular watcher...

I just want to know if the dialogue is always that stilted. I love the premise of the show, but I thought the acting was way below par. Kept thinking "this is still on, and ML isn't??" throughout the entire viewing.

That was my response too, Lisa!
I tend to do it with most of the shows; How come this is on TV and Moonlight is not?
I wasn't impressed by the episode or the acting either but can't wait for 4/29 :cheer:
