Well, he needs to be in LA for all the photo shoots and interviews that he will be giving for his upcoming guest stint on CM and his new movie. So, the timing is perfect!

His IMDb page has already added The Back-Up Plan. It's in pre-production so ... what does it mean? Pre-production? At the minimum, he has to start growing out his hair to Mick's length?

When does he have to start memorizing lines? And meet to check out the co-stars... Learn the art of kissing J Lo.. or vice versa.

It's a tough job but somebody gotta do it.

Wonder how much of a downtime he has. The film itself is slated for May 11 according to several articles.

Pre-production generally doesn't include the actors. Though, there may be some small details like wardrobe and make-up decisions that need to be made prior to filming. Think if I offer to bring my tape measure, they will let me help with the fittings?

No, TR wrapped yesterday, Friday. There's a poster Moondiva on MLD who recounted her assistant's experiences being an extra this past Thursday, she was in the same scenes with him. It's a long post so I can't get into it. She met and introduced to him as a ML fan. He had to get back to work but she got to stick around to watch him in action on the set. No cameras allowed so no pics.

She also said while he winked at her several times when not on air.

One more thing, he had lots of make-up on to age him to look like a 39-year-old doc.

It won't be Mick length in a month.

I'd love to know if he screen tested with J-Lo? And if so, any chance that footage will ever surface? No doubt the two of them will burn it up; they're both so sexy! I'm thinking we'll get some parted lips and maybe more with these kisses!

He'll just have to recover. Stay at home with the twins and not watch if it hurts his fweelings. Can't say as I blame him for not relishing his wife making-out with Alex though!

I bet he will be posting about his movie gig. He has been so good letting his fans know what is going on in his career.

And lots of make-up to age him??? Why? Very interesting.
Poor guy, last role--he couldn't age. This one--they want him to look older!

Awww...well, crap! Two of my VS sisters and myself were on the set at TR on Wednesday (one of the girls had a casting call as an extra) and we were told that Alex was "released" from the set..we had assumed that his scenes had wrapped and he had gone back to CA. Well..just pooh, pooh and double, triple pooh!! If we had known, we would have stayed around 'til Thursday and tried again...

*JIMS is now having a full blown hissy fit...*
