I know, SS!! That's all I seem to read about her anymore, the babies and the marriage. Though, she won't be sharing details about her relationship. You can count on hearing about the kids--because no one knows how to raise babies better than celebrities--us mere mortals don't have the market cornered on that.

Putting away the claws now....

Of course, when our babies WERE babies, it was actually US getting up in the middle of the night and then again at the crack of dawn to nurse the suckers... and then we had to get to jobs on time... and no 24/7 nannies and trainers and cooks and chauffeurs and housekeepers to do our "homework" for us... and no home delivery of groceries...

So it's reasonable that our faculties were a little frazzled... tho mine still are. But now it's the incontinent dog that's keeping me up at night...

before we get nailed for being , I'll unsheath my own claws - It's one thing to make the rounds of the talk shows to promote movies and TV shows - that's part of the deal the actor signs up to when they get a key part. I expect / hope that is what JLo will do when she makes the rounds this week. With BUP filming being only a few weeks off, this is a wonderful opportunity for her to hype the movie. But since the filming hasn't started, will she have had any interactions with Alex yet? I doubt it, so I think there will be little said other than to acknowledge who her co-star is.

But I have to admit (for all the reasons graces states above) that when any given celebrity tries to come across as the everyday working mom or dad, my bullsh!t meter goes off scale....they're not. Their lives are just so different from the rest of us. Maybe they're even harder than ours, maybe they're easier. While I can appreciate any parent, celebrity or otherwise, being proud of their kids and wanting to talk about them, frankly, I would think a celebrity would want to shield their kids from public scrutiny.

to be fair she does keep them away from the public except for the People Mag we rarely see her kids photographed she doesn't bring them to parks where you'll find tons of paparazzis like Alba or Garner for exemple, and in talk show of course she's gonna talk about them because they will ask her about them (she just not say much about her marriage, she learned her lesson i guess) it's the same for all the actress who just had kids (and half of hollywood had kids those last 2 years lol).

I want it to be good just because it would mean that he might be offered other roles like this one or at least open the door for more leading man roles. Having him be in a hit movie would sure go a long way to upping his recognition factor in Hollywood. Being attached to a flop would make his "stock" go down. So I'm hoping, praying, wishing and chanting that BUP is a big hit.

I understand your "needs" but it will be good. Our Alex wouldn't have signed to do a project if it were not at least promising. Our guy has good taste .

ITA... he needs a winner. Being on CM is great, as it already is a hit. But isn't there some expression that you're only as good as your last show? Moonlight was beloved but wasn't critically acclaimed or with big enough audience numbers... so an actual hit movie that got decent reviews would go a long way. And I would love to see him get that.

And he can certainly pull HIS load in the film... it'll be up to JLo and the director and writer to keep up with HIM!
