Again, just from the stills, the eyebrows are too close together and too bushy IMO.

Yeah, but not by that much. I study faces for a living, so if I'm wrong I'd better change careers! :snicker:

Gee, and I always thought it was a skill you developed with countless hours of Alex-watching.... :snicker:

I'm still unsure. If it weren't for the sunglasses, and the device obscuring his chin, it would be simple.

The ears...could be the result of different angles. I've been looking at some other stills, and in some they look remarkably similar, others, not quite so much.

OK, I am definitely NOT the expert here. :notworthy:

And, I'm not completely convinced one way or another, so I'm going to keep playing devil's advocate -- because it's a slow day...

mwj, look at your avi. Alex's ears end below his nose at that angle.

I think the nose and teeth look different. Hair color can be changed, so that isn't a strong clue. Also, he has moles on his cheeks that aren't in the video.

I'll stake my life on the fact this guy isn't Alex. When the pics came up on my computer he didn't even resemble Alex in the slightest. Hairs to dark, eyebrows aren't right, cute crease between them missing, nose too bulbulous, ears wrong, open mouth not right, teeth wrong, etc... kays

Oh Lilly! You are good at devil's advocate! ;) But in my avi pic his head is tilted back more than in either of the comp pics. Then there's the very different shape of the ears, Alex's more defined nose, and differently shaped brows (and distance between them), and the jaw and top lip look different (taking into consideration the different facial expression). In the clip you can better tell there's no slit in the ear and Alex's adorable moles are MIA. Also, it's hard to tell since the 'other' guy :snicker: is wearing glasses, but the shape of Alex's face, mainly the distance between the outer edge of his eye to the side of his face (our right, his left) appears to be wider. And the guy in the ad has bushier sideburns, in those comp pics anyway, so I'd have to delve into more Alex pics to determine if his are ever that bushy, and that's not really my thing you know.

I'm with Red & mwj - that's not Alex.

I've checked the YT link and the screen caps and I just don't see Alex there.

I'm quite good with faces (or so my pub quiz team tell me with my picture round knowledge :snicker: ) and I just don't see it. ;)
