Analysis: Both actors are cute, have dark hair, blue eyes and were on shows that had cult followings (O'Laughlin on "Moonlight," Bateman on "Arrested Development"). And most importantly, neither will steal the show.

At least BUP is slightly more believable. The set-up for Baster is just ridiculous. Jason Bateman's character switches out his sperm for that of the donor. Does he just happen to be carrying around a vial of his....little swimmers? Does he accompany her to the clinic and ducks into the next room...does his business and then switches the...erm...genetic material? *rolls eyes*

Frankly the article lost me when the writer mispelled his name (!!) and then the comment that neither will steal the show just sealed it.

This reminds me when Alex said in an interview that he read stuff about him and some wasn't nice and he was hurt by that. This is the kind of crap he meant because I doubt many fans talked like that. He probably wisely ignores this stuff now. As should we.

I agree with Jade. I didn't take the blog to be negative at all. The 2 Jennifers are bigger stars than their respective leading men in the movies.

This is how bloggers or reporters would write when they cover someone they don't know. The press considers TBUP to be J Lo's movie, not Alex's movie. The story is based on Zoe's life with scenes of Zoe with her friends, her Nana, her jealous coworker Clive, and with Stan. And J Lo will likely be heavily featured, akin to ML's Mick and Alex will have enough scenes akin to Josef (not much as Beth.) Sad but true.

We need to send up positive vibes about the movie anyway, anyhow. A few of us went on one of J Lo's fan forums to introduce Alex to her fans, who weren't too thrilled at first about not knowing who Alex was. They're coming around.. slowly.. (on page 10 ). The sexy TV Guide pic and link are posted on page 13 by a couple of nice ML fans .. If you choose to post there, please please don't disrespect J Lo or her fans..

Looking fit and fab, J.Lo pitches in at the March of Dimes' walkathon in Key Biscayne, Fla, on Saturday morning.

The proud mother of twins helped cut the ribbon at the March for Babies walk, benefiting premature-born infants.

Recently, Entertainment Tonight broke the news that "Moonlight" actor Alex O'Loughlin had been cast to star opposite J.Lo in CBS Films' romantic comedy 'The Back-Up Plan.'

I missed here where J Lo did publicity for Alex. Did she say something about him or BUP at the March of Dimes?

Noureen DeWulf books three film roles

Noureen DeWulf is stacking up the gigs.

The actress has been cast opposite Jennifer Lopez in CBS Films' romantic comedy feature "The Back-Up Plan." The role comes on the heels of her being cast in the Lifetime miniseries "Maneater," with Judy Greer and Sarah Chalke, and the Fox comedy pilot for "Two Dollar Beer."

DeWulf also will appear in two summer comedies: "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," which hits theaters Friday, and "The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard," coming out in mid-August.

In "Plan," about a fed-up wannabe mother who meets a promising romantic prospect on the same day she undergoes artificial insemination, DeWulf will play Daphne, a hip downtown co-worker at Lopez's pet store.

Michaela Watkins and Alex O'Loughlin also star. Kate Angelo ("Will & Grace") wrote the screenplay, and Alan Poul ("Six Feet Under") is directing.

The movie will be CBS Films' first feature release, due in theaters in January. Principal photography begins next month in Los Angeles.

DeWulf, repped by the Kohner Agency and Evolution Entertainment, also has appeared on NBC's "Chuck" and the CW's "90210."
