Alex on CM: "The Big Wheel" - SPOILER thread

Post by Lilly »

This is the place to speak freely about the details of the episode without having to use spoiler tags. This will be the thread to use next Wednesday, as eastern time zones see the episode before it airs on the west coast. Feel free to get it warmed up before then if you like.

Thanks, Lilly!

All I can say at this point is it feels really weird to be back on a countdown clock, only this one is for Wednesday night, not Friday. :snicker:

My impressions after seeing the 2 promos for episode is that we are going to be surprised, anxious and most likely bawling our eyes out by the end of the episode. I watch Criminal Minds regularly, and for the most part have very little sympathy for the UNSUBs. They are usually evil and get what they deserve. But I have a feeling we are going to feel empathy for Vincent, even knowing he's a killer. Alex made a comment in the TVGuide article that he would never play someone he felt could not be redeemed. So I look for Alex to turn the audience around by the end of the episode. We may start off despising Vincent (perish the thought! :giggle: ), but in the end we'll most likely feel very sorry for him and the events that made him who and what he became...Redemption? I guess thats in the eye of the beholder, but if Alex thinks his Vincent can be redeemed, then I'm okay with that. :snicker:

Let the countdown begin.... :9to5:

I agree, Susie. I can't see any reason for them to show Vincent as a child unless they were going to develop him beyond a two-dimensional demon. Unlike the sociopathic child in this week's episode, we know that Vincent is capable of remorse. That in itself is a redeeming quality, although probably not enough for redemption on its own. I have no doubt that it'll be highly emotional ride -- and I can't wait.

Oh I am FULLY prepared to be "balling my eyes out," as Susan put it! I have been ready for that for months, and still was after seeing that E clip... but now, after seeing the promo, I am also prepared to be freaked out by Vincent... and scared of him. Had not anticipated that.

He DID look cute in the clip with Alice... who should probably rest in peace...

But dang he looked cold-blooded in some of those promo moments... :gasp:

Tho I am still hoping they do not kill him... we've seen Alex die before, but so not wanting to see it AGAIN!

Spoiler:
In the episode titled "The Big Wheel,” premiering at 8 p.m. on CBS, Klopp plays Michelle, a real estate agent who comes in contact with a serial killer. Alex O’Loughlin ("Moonlight”) plays the killer.

"He’s the only person I was in the scene with, and he stabs me,” said Klopp, who called The Oklahoman from Los Angeles last week after returning from another audition. "He’s really a nice guy and very professional. It was just a delight to work with Alex.”

Klopp, 26, spent about 10 hours on the "Criminal Minds” set in February filming her scene. It only lasts five minutes or so, but she now is on a few casting directors’ radar.

I put spoiler tags because some might not want to know anything about tomorrow's episode. I wanted to be sure.

But what a 5 min. scene it was - she he got to be up close and personal with Alex! I wonder if she was cast for her captivating eyes? They add to the drama when he's watching onscreen.
