Are you getting any sense from the CM fans what they thought of this episode?
The initial reaction is looking pretty good

Most are saying that they loved the episode. Most enjoyed Alex's performance and of course, there's a few who thought he wasn't anything special. Obviously those people need psychiatric help. ;)

Another great epi with a ferris wheel. I liked the one in ML too! :bat2:

Or perhaps they need to borrow Vincent's glasses...

It seemed that most of the comments left on that blog were good. Understandable that these people are first and foremost fans of CM--not Alex. So, any decent comment referencing his acting in the ep of their show is cause for celebration!

I agree... he did not register as "special" to some of these peeps... they are entranced by Shemar... but most of them DID think he done a great job. Which is a fact.

Bravo Alex!!! :clapping:

I guess it's to be expected. I don't recall us ooohing and aaahhhing over any of the guest stars on moonlight either. Some we thought did a good job. Some were memorable, but I don't think we did any fawning. (or is there someone that I'm blocking out of my memory who wowed us more than I remember?)

Nah... we mostly liked some of em but begrudged their screen time if they took much away from MIck... or perhaps that was just me...

At any rate, I may follow your lead, SS, and send a little note of Alex-praise to CBS tomorrow... don't know what the ratings will be, but they had my eyes tonite and otherwise would not have...

Off to bed now, my beloved fellow addicts... :cloud9: We got our boy back, for the one night at least... We can start complaining again tomorrow... :snicker:

There are some comments about Alex on TWOP (Television without Pity). Mostly positive, one person not impressed with Alex, but whatev. Lots of people on TWOP are brutal, so really, the comments are mostly good.

That was exactly my point, SS. Can't expect them to fawn like we would. That is why I was curious as to previous eps and guest stars and how Alex rated as far as screen time and acting ability.

I know how I feel about his acting in this ep, but I am a wee bit biased!

Good nite everyone. Lovely to share this Alex reunion with you all!

Hey if the TWoP crowd is positive, that's something. That site is akin to jumping into pirahna infested waters. The posters there mostly live to cannabilize.

Thanks for the link, Christy!

There are comments here as well. 26 when I went there. All positive, although many thought the little boy overshadowed Alex. Most were very impressed by Alex, the little boy and Simon's writing. Very good response I think.

I didn't realize that about the TWoP crowd. Good to know before I read the responses. *off to check*
