Hey everybody!
Thought I would drop you all a quick line and let you know that things are going really well.
I finished Three Rivers and landed the role in Jennifer Lopez' new film The Back Up Plan, which I have been madly working on preparing since I got back from Pittsburgh.
It is very exciting news about this film, and I think it will be a really good thing for me but it does mean I am going to have to miss out on other things. One of these being the Star Fury event in London which I was looking forward to very much.
I really wanted to reach out to anyone who was going to come and say hello to me there.
I know that when you buy your tickets they tell you we (the actors) may not be there if we get a job, but I'm sorry all the same. I wanted to be there too but this film I could not pass up. I hope you guys understand.
Also, thank you so much to all the people who tuned into my Criminal Minds episode the other night. It was a fun show to be a part of.

I so love this man! I'm glad that he came out and said he was sorry he couldn't make the StarFury Con, though I know it won't lesson the dissapointment of his fans. The blog sounds "rushed" a bit to me, as though he is very busy but took the time to reach out to us with an update. Go Alex!

Sometimes, I think this guy is too good to be real.....but then, I know better...

I find it amazing that he still 'reaches out' to his fans in this way....others might not be so considerate

But even more amazing is the 'reaching out' to those that were going to London....they're disappointed and he's sorry for that. Again, considerate.

I kinda thought he would blog and send an apology for not being able to go to Starfury,He's just that kind of guy,And I agree it did sound rushed,But he is probably very busy so it was very nice of him to take some time and drop a few lines.

I was tickled when I saw it...and touched, too. What a sweetie. I commented (of course, didn't everyone?) that of course he has to consider his career first. And we all love him and support him... and I told him how great he was in CM, of course.

How great is he to take a few moments during this busy time to reach out to the fans? Class act indeed. Considering that most actors never bother to communicate with their fanbase, I think he's pretty amazing.

To be honest, I think he's probably got someone else approving comments for posting and approving friends. But I believe he's the one that blogs to his fans. Approving posts for him is one thing, actually writing a blog and signing his name would be another and I don't see Alex liking that all that much. So hang in there Jade, I'm sure your friends request will be answered/approved soon.
