maybe it's just me, but the effect of having the shirtsleeves being a bit too long, make his hands smaller. But it's more than that...his whole body language as Vincent make his hands look, less confident? (can hands be confident?)

He's Alex. His hands can be anything he wants them to be. He's that talented.
They still looked pretty big to me, Dark... but less rugged. They were more delicate looking... of course, that's not what Alice experienced.

I think it is a subject worthy of more study! As Vincent's hands, like Vincent's voice, expressions, walk, and demeanor... were all so different from anything else Alex has done. A most impressive feat... (not feet... tho we DID get to see Vincent's feet... )
