If this was the full article, then it's interesting the 3R was one of so few dramas mentioned.

Red

Good point, Red! Interesting.

As to TR, I am being cautious because last year they all said the same about ML and all the internal problems that blew it up weren't known.

Lightning can NOT strike twice in the same spot---right??? :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:
Well, TR is produced by CBS Paramount Studios and not WB so right there it has the edge over The Eastmans and Miami Trauma (both of which are produced by WB). So if CBS is serious about picking up a medical drama AND wants to cut costs, there really is only one choice and that's TR.

BUT (and this is a huge but), we don't know how many shows CBS is going to cancel. Right now Eleventh Hour and The Unit look like they're gone. Cold Case got really good ratings this last Sunday against Desperate Housewives (and that was the third bubble show I was counting on disappearing). CBS seems to be high on The Good Wife and it's pretty much a given they will be picking up NCIS2 so if they only cancel two dramas, they will only have 2 slots available. I would feel much better about this whole scenario if there was a third drama gasping its last breath.

Bottom Line: Be optimistic but keep both feet firmly planted on the ground.

I really like Cold Case myself BUT if it is a choice between Cold Case and TR; no question, bring me back my Alex! :hearts:

ITA with JIMS! Amy, you gotta post more frequently with that banner of yours, please! :snicker: :snicker:

That's sound advise Amy, although quite challenging where Alex is concerned. :?

I would kind of like to see Without a Trace disappear before Cold Case, but that's me. :ysmile:

How many days until the 20th? :gasp:

What about Flashpoint? Is it coming back next season?
It might be another candidate from cancellation

Some sites call for its cancellation (TV Guide and EW-Ausiello both have it on their bubble list) but Robert Seidman at TV By The Numbers thinks that CBS might just leave it where it is because it is such a cheap show to produce. The show is made in Canada so it has lower costs. In my opinion, it could go either way.
