Well at least with Nikki Finke, you know it's based on actual information and therefore this is the first that gives me some real confidence (although her "I hear..." about BUP is a ittle behind the times...).

I just do wish she'd stop calling us rabid. :sigh:

This was the overview from Nikki Finke's article on CBS upfronts:

OVERVIEW: Usually CBS is known as the "cone of silence" during pilot season leading to the upfronts. ("If anyone even talks about what they like, they get killed," notes one of my tipsters.) But not this year. My sources are picking CBS for the hottest development this season. Even those who think Nina Tassler has rested on her reputation are saying this is the best CBS drama development that she's had in 5 years. When I last updated my reporting, Les Moonves had screened everything. Meanwhile, he like all the corporate network bosses are doing their best to whack down license fees before the network renews shows. (On Cold Case and Without A Trace, Les is in mortal combat with his old employer Warner Bros).

Speak for yourself, WF. I think it's cheap and sloppy. She should know better.

Oh, thank you, baby Jesus! Out of all the commenters, I trust Nikki Finke the most. Mainly because she was the first one to break the news about Moonlight's cancellation. So she knows her stuff. Now let's just hope and pray that Les makes room for it on his fall schedule.

I think I'm moving on to the vino. :redwine: The tums are no longer working and I have no nails left to chew off.

I'm still trying to stay a bit grounded. Nikki's sources are usually considered very reliable, but TVbytheNumbers has been slamming her a bit for the past week or so, saying her "sources" were dead wrong on several supposed pilots that NBC was going to pick up. She's also taken some heat for reporting that Chuck's fate was to have been decided earlier this week.

So until I hear it from more than one reliable source, I'm still going to try and stay positive, yet realistic!

Yeah, right! Like thats going to happen! :giggle:

Well, if you're breaking out the mimosas, I'm in!
:champs: :champs: :champs:

(notice how I poured three... my mama taught me how to share.)

Wow... you guys are FAST!! Refills already... oh, okay!
:champs: :champs: :champs:

ETA: My apologies, I just realized I succumbed to Grace/Fleur-itis. Now, back on topic: I really, really -- one really for each mimosa -- hope 3R gets picked up... Picked up? Wait a minute, if someone's gonna pick up our Alex, it better be one of us! (sorry, that's the mimosas talking again... :snicker: )
