It may well just be a sign that they are going to pick up both shows. Who knows, at this point?

Back to waiting...

SUNDAY AM UPDATE: The UNTITLED NCIS SPINOFF and THE GOOD WIFE starring Julianna Margulies were always considered locks at CBS. So hiring writers is usually a preliminary to a pick-up. Having CBS allow the medical pilot THREE RIVERS starring Alex O'Loughlin to start hiring writers would seem to indicate that it's now pulled ahead of rival medical pilot MIAMI TRAUMA from Jerry Bruckheimer. Not true, according to my latest information. I've just been told that CBS has given Miami Trauma the green light to "make staffing offers". I'm hearing unofficially that U.S. ATTORNEY may go midseason.

:wtf: What does it mean? That both shows are considered? Or that there is no decision yet? And what are her sources?

dc, you're never going to find out her sources (or any other journo worth their salt). It could mean no decision as yet. It could mean both shows. It could be a bargaining tool. As I say, we just don't know yet.

Thanks, red!
I sure hope that Alex is busy filming today and doesn't have to go through all this, minute by minute :banghead:

I would have preferred that CBS go with a single med drama, but I can handle 2 as long as TR is in there. So that's a possible 4 dramas. I wonder who's getting cut then? Eleventh Hour seems dead (sorry to the fans of that show). I could see The Unit being gone and Flashpoint being held for mid-season or cancelled. So unless CBS starts putting original programming back on Saturdays, that would mean some other show is going bye bye. That is if sources are correct.

Oy....my head hurts. :dizzy:
