I'm glad to see that CBS has learned its lesson and is promoting TR. I could count on one hand the number of promo spots I saw for Moonlight... :sigh:

No sh*t. Except towards the end, when they toyed with us.

Not goin' there. All is good right now, and hopefully they have learned from their mistakes. Though if they continue to say his name wrong, I am going to send a firmly worded email to CBS.

I'm not screwing with em... they already think ML fans are crazy. If Alex does not like the way they pronounce his name, then I'd say it's up to him and HIS FRIGGIN PEOPLE, ASSUMING HE ACTUALLY HAS ANY, to do something about it. I am being nothing but sweetness and light with CBS... I don't trust em, but I don't wanna irritate em either...

CBS is neither friend or foe, they are a major corperation and Alex is an commodity . They saw Alex as a useful, article of personal or company advantage. Good for him and us, do they love Alex, yes and they should promote the heck of him, they see him as a winning ticket, and out of all those pilots they picked TRs. Out of all the good things CBS is doing for Alex, why do we still hold CBS accountable for Moonlight and every thing that goes wrong? The name thing, are we sure about the right way to say his name, and if we are right and they are wrong, really guys shouldn't Alex and his team have a problem with this and correct it?

I agree with you nayp regarding CBS. It's business and the decisions they make aren't personal. As for the pronunciation of O'Loughlin, Alex absolutely pronounces is O'Locklin. He recorded a greeting way back when at www.thebuzzwire.net. Have a listen... it's dreamy. :cloud9:

Ohhhhhh thank you! I had forgotten about that Sis! Yeah... dreamy at LEAST! WHAT a voice! And it wasn't his interview voice... just him.

And definitely O'Locklin. Bless his heart... he needs to knock his people upside the head...

Remember that cute promo CBS put on YouTube making fun of the accent thing? The stupidhead pronounced his name O'Loflin and So-fia instead of So-fy-a.

CBS people are dumb. LOL

LOL Ms. Smith :rolling: ... I haven't seen a promo yet myself nayp... but I am hearing from those who have that the announcer is pronouncing his name INCORRECTLY as O'Loflin. As the announcer did in the promo for the CM ep... which I DID see.

If in fact that is how they are pronouncing it, that is my tirade about "his people"... I think his publicist and manager oughta be pursuing that. I have a hard-to-get-it-right last name too... and then went and married another one... but I NEVER let people get it wrong twice. I politely explain the correct pronunciations. I would think that is fairly important for an actor who is trying to become known... getting the name right is a pretty basic step.

Dreamy it is! Between my slow dial up and bad speakers, I had never heard that before.

And, nayp, I had my tongue firmly planted in my cheek when I made my comment.
