Sister, March of the Penguins? It was torment!
I left the theater absolutely exhausted after watching what those poor penguins go through.

Doesn't it make you appreciate your own Gracelets and Fleurettes and the fact that you can grow them under better circumstances a bit more?
okay, maybe it shows that I don't have kids...

Oh you get it, Francis... verrrry grateful I'm no where near that place! I swear I think we oughta rescue a few more of those poor birds... I bet the San Diego Zoo is like paradise to them! Hell the Bronx Zoo would be paradise to them! A zoo in Alaska would be paradise to them! They are probably crawling all over themselves, when the Discovery Channel shows up to film, to be captured and tagged and sent back to be studied...
And only on MLA can we turn a discussion on a WhiteOut promo into a referendum on March of the Penguins...

I wonder where they actually shot the movie? No penguins about, I suppose...

Hey Sis, if your little one wants more penguins, may I suggest The Penguins of Madagascar?wpgrace wrote: And only on MLA can we turn a discussion on a WhiteOut promo into a referendum on March of the Penguins...![]()

Speaking of WhilteOut, sorta, I wonder if Kate actually told Alex "You're an idiot!" when they were arguing over who was the more badass vamp (as he claimed in an interview)?

And, WTF??? No Alex in the trailer--phbbt. I bet that will change shortly, with BUP and 3R coming up, they will be capitalizing on his fame.

The closest I could find is these 3 walking from the plane to the corpse. Since Alex plays a pilot, maybe the taller figure on the right is him. Of course, maybe Kate told him to "wait in the plane."

And about Whiteout, one detail: Alex plays an Aussie pilot (Hayden) so he might use his accent

But doesn't he die at some point in the film? Didn't he say something about that in some interview?? Or am I inhaling too many house cleaning products these days???

LOL--Alex is the BODY, all right. Just not the murder victim.
I cannot wait to see this movie--and I hope Alex is in it a lot, but even if he isn't, it looks like it's gonna be a gripper. I just wonder what the problems were with it...

Re: Whiteout - links, news, discussion
I am looking forward to this movie as well. But given that it was initially filmed before Moonlight - and that is more than two years ago - I don't necessarily have high hopes for it. Some of us even thought it might go directly to DVD given how the release had been delayed.
When you compare Whiteout not being released for at least 2 1/2 years after it was filmed, to the Backup Plan being released less than 6 months after filming - well draw your own conclusions. I just hope some of Alex remains and that it does keep a R rating. Or at least have a DVD with those special scenes that would cost it a R rating.

Thank you Coco for the lovely banner.
