Another AU on how Beth and Josh could have gone their separate ways, if not amicably, at least without bloodshed. Josh was, from what I saw, a good guy--honest, a bit of a crusader and determined to stand against the chaos. In time, he could have been an ally--once the passions cooled a bit.

Thank you cassy! They really didn't have to kill Josh. Then again, if he had lived, we wouldn't have wanted Beth to be tempted to run back to "safe and comfortable" when the going got tough with Mick.

And I still believe Marissa had a thing for Josh.

I have noticed that a lot of people didn't trust Marissa. Guess I'm either gullible (probable) or have rotten instincts (thought those were rather good) but I liked her. Thought that Beth needed female friends, too, and that Marissa was a good friend.

Guess not.

Really like the idea of BethJosh ending is a less violent and traumatic way.
