No time for a really in depth review, red, but, I have to say... his memory of his mother, the comforting thought that our loved ones await us at the time of our death... that just grabbed me and as Pgal said I think, that's the cracking point in this story. Beautiful, full of pathos, sigh.
Thank you so much, Luxe. I confess I have a massive weakness for Mick and his mother - she's been a regular in many stories - I think the farther away he gets from his own family, the more he yearns for that connection.
