Let's watch Moonlight!

Hi Moonlightaholics,

On the Mick thread, some of us have been talking about the idea of watching Moonlight episodes--for some of us, it would be the first time in years. Would you like to join us? My thought is that we would watch one episode a week for twelve weeks, starting the week after Thanksgiving. Or would you rather wait till after the holidays?

Please post here if you'd like to participate, and say whether you want to start the week beginning Sunday, November 26th, or wait till the beginning of the year (say, the week beginning Sunday, January 7th). If you have any other ideas, please bring them up!

Wow, what timing! I've just started my first re-watch in .... nine years. I was just about to start posting what it was like to watch the first couple of episodes nine years on, so I'd love to do that here! (For the timing, the sooner the better for me, since I've already started. )

Are you thinking that we are all watching at the same time, and then posting about it? Sounds fun! Personally, I'd like to wait until January, but I can adjust to whatever you decide.

If you are thinking of watching on Sundays and starting after Thanksgiving, be aware that both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are on Sunday's this year.

Rather than trying to get everyone to watch at exactly the same time, I was thinking of giving us a week to watch each episode. Nobody's going to be spoiled, so we could just post when we felt like it after watching.

If you'd rather try to arrange a specific time, I'm open to that too.

A week to watch sounds like it will work. Then it probably wouldn't matter which week you started. Just let us know!

Yes, I would really like to dust off my dvds and watch with you. A week of time seems good. I would like to start after the holidays though, because I will be in no-computer-no-internet-land over the holidays.

Here's another idea: what if we start watching/discussing Episode 1 the week after Thanksgiving, and watch 3 weeks' worth of episodes? Then we can take a break starting Sunday, December 17th, and watch Episode 4 the week beginning Sunday, January 7th. Does that work for those of you who will be away/offline during the holidays?

Sounds good to me to watch an episode on our own time after Thanksgiving and however many after that per week is fine. I just can't watch at a specific time. I work most weekends with every other Saturday off.
