For remaining episodes, I will only be listing locations we haven’t seen before.

3. 1730 Los Feliz Blvd., exterior Teen Vamp’s apartment – approx. 638 S. St. Louis St., Los Angeles, CA
Although there are similar style buildings on Los Feliz Blvd., this street address does not exist. The actual filming location was a building on S. St. Louis Street right next door to the Linda Vista Hospital location used for the morgue.

The house seen on the corner in the background as Mick and Beth approach can clearly be seen in the following shot taken from another angle…

5. Greene’s – Big Dean’s Oceanfront Café, 1615 Ocean Front, Santa Monica, CA 90401 Link: Website
The Greene's location is another example of the "Hollywood magic" at work. The editing of the episode showed the teen vamp walking along the Santa Monica Pier and then turning left into Greene's to meet Cherish. In reality, Big Dean's, the restuarant used in the episode, is not on the pier at all. It's located on the street that runs perpendicular to the end of the pier.

Entering Greene's...

The entrance to Big Dean's...

We spoke with Bill, one of the managers at Big Dean's, who told us that there was a tremendous amount of preparation needed to ready the bar for the shoot. All signs, lights, and bottles that had the name of alcoholic beverages on them had to be removed as a requirement for filming. You can see the difference in the pictures above -- most of the neon signs were removed from the far wall and the bottles behind the bar had to be turned so that their labels could not be seen on camera.

Bill had another anecdote to share regarding the scene in the hallway in front of the women's restroom. After blocking and rehearsal, there was a momentary lull, so he quickly went into the storeroom (seen on the left side of my photo) to retrieve something that was needed for a departing bus trip they had arranged for the regular patrons. As he was about to exit the storeroom, he heard, "Action!" and found himself stuck in there -- trying desperately not to make a sound -- until the scene was finished.

Mick and Beth gave chase through the back open air seating area and out through an apparent exit to the pier....

(The bar on the right of this picture was not there when the episode was filmed in 2007.)

The path they took actually led to a downstairs men's room.....

6. Santa Monica Pier – Santa Monica, CA
Through clever editing, Mick bypasses the men's room and exits on the pier...

The clothing shop that Mick and Beth pass as they search for Cherish and the teen vamp and Playland Arcade where they eventually find them...

The photo booth used in the episode is different from the actual one in the arcade; however many of the machines and games seen in the show are there, such as the one seen in the background here....

The change machine that the vamp jumped over to escape is slightly different, but in the same location as it was in the show...

7. Pacific Park – Pacific Park, Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA -- Link: Website

The ferris wheel has been replaced with a new solar-powered one that looks almost identical to the one that was there in 2007.
The fight with the teen vamp took place on the west end of the roller coaster...

1. Mick jumps up just to the left of the red support pillar closest to the ferris wheel.

2. He fights with the teen vamp at the yellow support.

3. Hanging between the yellow and the bright pink supports...

4. They jump up to avoid the speeding cars just past the bright pink support.

5. Teen vamp meets his fate finally just before the blue support.
One interesting thing my son found -- the lever used by the teen vamp to start the roller coaster...

Actually starts the Scrambler...

The roller coaster is started with a button -- not nearly as dramatic.

8. Buzzwire rooftop parking - WB Studios Parking Garage, Warner Bros. Studios, Burbank, CA

Mick's car was parked facing south. The office building on the right in the background is 3400 Riverside Drive, where the WB VIP Tour Center is located.
