Very interesting. One thing I noticed is that among the clips is a misplaced clip of Kid Nation...and that was the same way on IMDB, too. Curious that.

Moonlight is #100 for all genres and it comes in at #16 for Sci/Fi shows!

I wasn't familiar with this site. Once you register, you can rate not only the series but each individual episode as well.

Hmm. That's not what I had in mind when I asked for a special features disk.librarian_7 wrote:Very interesting. One thing I noticed is that among the clips is a misplaced clip of Kid Nation...and that was the same way on IMDB, too. Curious that.

The top 100 shows of all time. And they cancelled it. Can we say idiots?
Moonlight was killed before it's time. But then everyone here has known that all the long. It's just that things like this remind me how pissed off it made me.

I hate to rain on the parade..but this list seems incomplete to me. I didn't see MASH, or I Love Lucy or any of the "old time" great shows..so, I'm not sure what criteria they are using to judge this..??
If viewership is the key, there are more people watching television now than when these original shows ran..so that gives today's shows a definite advantage.
But, still lovely to see Moonlight on anyone's "best" list...

Re: tv.com has Moonlight in the top 100 shows of all time!
JIMS - this site kind of gives me the impression of a more refined Hey!Nielsen. I'm not sure, but I get the sense that the "most popular" list is based on viewers' marking a show as a favorite.
There's also a "highest rated" list Here, which I assume is based on members' numerical ratings (1-10). Moonlight doesn't show up on this one, but it does have an 8.9 rating, which all of the shows in the 83rd through 100th spot also share.
So, it seems that there is the possibility of a show moving up or down on the list based on members' responses. What seems to set it apart from the old Hey!Nielsen site, I believe, is that a member's opinion only counts once. However, that being said, members may change their opinions over time and that would also reflect in the standings.

Ahh, thanks, Lilly. That makes some sense, then. So, this is basically a "viewers poll" kinda thing..okay..get it now.Lilly wrote:JIMS - this site kind of gives me the impression of a more refined Hey!Nielsen.
