The second anniversary of Moonlight's first episode is Monday, September 28, 2009. In honor of this important occasion, we would like to invite all of our members to participate in a different kind of challenge. The theme is "Meeting Moonlight," and you are invited to share a story, a poem, an essay, a snark, a banner, or anything you feel inspired to create. The theme is "Meeting Moonlight," but you don't need to use that as the title of your piece.
Not a writer? Tell the story of the first time you watched Moonlight, or the first person you converted to Moonlight fandom, or the first time you met a fellow fan... we all have wonderful stories to tell!
Your submission can be any length, any style, any rating (but please include a rating in the title of all stories, per our Author Guidelines.) Please remember also that actual people may not be snarked, but characters are fair game. The challenge will end at 9pm Pacific Time on Monday, September 28th, the second anniversary of the beginning of Episode One.
Since we're hoping to attract participants who don't normally respond to the Champagne Challenges, it's possible that not everyone who participates may have an office. If you have an office in the appropriate forum (artwork goes in the Studio offices, fiction and essays go in the Moonlight Fan Fiction offices), please post your submission in your office, with a link in this thread. If you would like to participate in the challenge but do not have an office, please post it as a new topic in this "Meeting Moonlight" forum, and include a link to your post in this thread. This first post will be updated as links are added.
