Shannyn's HBO series "How to Make it in America" starts on Feb 14, 10 PM EST. It's only 8 episodes long; don't know what that means...

Sounds like a mini series... but I do not get HBO... enjoy it, those who do!

I'll have to remember to check it out. I don't watch the Olympics and since they start on Feb 12 it will be counter-programming.

The good news was Shannyn was in a few scenes and her character seems closely tied to the leads. It's not my kind of show but pilots are always hard to judge. The theme seems to be young people trying to make their way sometimes by some shady means. Her character is named Gingy and seems to have a rich daddy but trying to make her own way in the art world. She was managing a show for an artist.

So it's kinda about people who flirt with illegal activities? Seems an odd premise. I"m not sure that would be all that interesting to me either.

Watched the first epi on You Tube. Not my kind of show, but I wish her well. Too choppy; it tries to be edgy but fails, IMHO. Course, I'm not the demographic in the show. Shannon's haircut is not as attractive as when she was on ML, but otherwise, she's just as beautiful as ever.
