Jordan Belfi in "Bedrooms"
Jordan has a new movie, Bedrooms, slated to make it's world premiere at the 14th Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival, which runs Aug. 19-25 at the Mann Chinese 6 in Hollywood. According to IMDb, the film will be shown on August 19.
The film also stars Julie Benz, Moon Bloodgood, Sarah Clarke, Xander Berkeley, Dee Wallace and Barry Bostwick in four separate storylines. In this respect, it seems rather similar to "The Trouble With Romance" from 2009.
Plot Summary (from IMDb):
Bedrooms is an evocative story about the walls that separate people, the heartbreak and infidelity that's often the result and the redemption that comes from tearing those walls down. The film is told in 4 stories by 3 unique filmmakers. Three of the stories deal with married couples of various ages confronting the turning points of their relationships. A fourth story is interwoven throughout, providing bookends and context in the form of a story about two ten year old twins, who, tired of sharing their bedroom set out to build a wall between their beds to create their own spaces. In building the wall to separate, they come to fully appreciate all things that connect them. Bedrooms is a comic, sweet and gut wrenching exploration of human relationships, their myriad complications and the daily choice we face to either make them work or to move on.

The world premiere is tomorrow at the LA Latino Film Festival. According to Jordan's FB page, it's the number one selling event at the festival.

And, apparently, there's an after-party at the Roosevelt Hotel. There's always a Moonlight tie-in, isn't there?

Good Luck Jordan!
I do so hope he eventually is in something where his character gets the girl and gets to be happy in the end.
Edited to add:
... And that the movie actually gets released so we all can see it!

Re: Jordan Belfi in "Bedrooms"
Here's an article from The Film Talk with specific mention of "Bedrooms" which screened on Friday, 9/10, at the Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles.
Link: BEDROOMS at the Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles...
While not a fan of of this style of storytelling, the writer had very good things to say about Jordan and his segment of the film...
Jordan Belfi and Moon Bloodgood are real standouts in their story, (aka the one that reminds everyone in the audience of every crappy relationship they’ve ever had and thank God they’re out of). Bloodgood was my favorite part of TERMINATOR…what was it called? TERMINATOR REDEMPTION ….TERMINATOR ANNIHILATION?
It’ll come to me.
She’s great in BEDROOMS – completely believable as a person who’s not bad – just deeply flawed when it comes to the qualities of personal honesty and maturity.
And Belfi knocks it out of the park as…well, let’s just call him Everyman shall we? I understand from others at the Fest that he’s well known for his comedy work on shows like ENTOURAGE, but this was the first time I’d seen him and was impressed – when he’s about ten years older I’d love to see him in his own series playing a washed up cop who has to take low-down, dangerous moonlighting jobs to pay for his cheating ex-wife’s mortgage.
Interesting take on Jordan's future.
But, you know, I could see it.
According to the article, "Bedrooms" has been sold to Showtime, so it seems we may end up seeing it on the small screen rather than in theaters.

Re: Jordan Belfi in "Bedrooms"

I'm sure most actors stay away from bloggers and reviewers for the sake of their sanity, but I hope someone keeps the good ones and passes them along. How lovely.
