2012 SFX Top 50 Vampires Poll - Results

In June, 2010, British Sci Fi magazine announced the results of a "Top 50 Vampires of all time" poll which had Josef Kostan and Mick St. John positioned at #17 and #4 respectively. (The results are linked at the reference below.)

They are redoing the poll given there has been so much activity in this genre. Voting continues till Jan 3.

Josef is number 32. Mick is number 20 and there are 48 other vampires listed.

Pretty good for only sixteen episodes that aired in 2007 and 2008 is all I have to say.

Well, that and the fact that style, class and quality...endures.

Where on earth could they find nineteen vampires better than Mick????????? Now that's just bizarre...

Actually, Mick was #4 the first time they ran this poll. So he dropped a bit. But considering the number of years that have passed, 20 is pretty good.

And many vamp fans were astounded to see him as #4... I think even the publishers were shocked. So maybe 20 is more in line with the reality in the general vamp fandom. But he didn't go away. So. .
