I've always loved this one! It's really hot how much Cora gets to him, although I have a strong urge to give him a hug and make it all better!

Gah!! I was just mentioning this scene on the Mick thread... I LOVE this scene. Alex did this so well... Mick lost his perpetual cool and you really realize the emotional power this woman has over him! Cool scene!!!!!!!!

ah sigh.... I've come to love that scene! Didn't like it at the time though of course. lol Not because I was a MickBether - I was never die hard, and it never bothered me anyway - but I just never appreciated it until much later.

Thanks for the Arrested Development rewind, mwj! I did love that moment especially. It said quite a lot about the depth of his feelings for Cora. We just needed more happy flashback moments, gosh darn it!!

And it said alot about how deeply he can love and how affected by love he is... he was not a shallow guy, MSJ...

More than any other, it is the story that gives me a satisfying conclusion. Mick and Cora re-united and finally at peace with themselves and each other. I cannot recommend it heartily enough.

ITA!!! I went back over the VLF to read it when you posted this earlier in the thread... It is a WONDERFUL MickCora story... and seems sooo appropriate to vampires. Their time clocks are different from ours... forever is a really long time. It is such a lovely and realistic (given the vampire premise to begin with of course) and peaceful and so typical scenario, even for humans, of a long-time couple meeting again after a long and acrimonious separation... I loved it... thanks for posting the links Red, and thanks for writing it GA.

By the way... I know we aren't on this subject, but we were talking about his jackets in the Mick thread and I just thought I'd note that here he is wearing my favorite henley.

He looks good in all henleys and the henley in WLB comes might close to this one, but this henley in AD stands the test of time for me...

Ok back to MickCora... had to babble my henley enthusiasm and will sit and stare at him for awhile now... thanks for putting up with the digression...

I also found the fight scene between the two of them sexy too (in eppy 1). Anyone else get the feeling that's just a form of vampire foreplay?

I just get this image of Mick and Cora, at the height of their vamp relationship, just completely wrecking a bedroom after a night of hot vamp sex.
